This full-day excursion combines stunning scenery, off-road adventure, and immersion in the pristine landscapes of southern Patagonia. We continue through the Carbajal Valley, known for its striking peat bogs formed during the glacial era. Along the way, passengers will also see several winter resorts that operate during the winter season, offering activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and dog sledding.
The route then climbs to 450 meters above sea level, crossing the Andes Mountains via the famous Garibaldi Viewpoint. From its viewpoint, we enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Escondido and the vast Lake Fagnano—two iconic highlights of the region.
Upon reaching the historic Bronsovich sawmill, the off-road segment begins. Following old logging trails, the 4x4 vehicles venture deep into native forest, navigating varied terrain in a safe and exciting ride. The route passes through primary forest made up of southern beech trees, offering pure air, rich biodiversity, and minimal human presence.
The adventure reaches its peak on the shores of Lake Fagnano, where we take a moment to rest and enjoy a warm beverage by the water. The tour concludes with a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, featuring regional flavors and spectacular views, before coming back to Ushuaia.
